Sufix Super 21 nylon is made of dense high molecular weight nylon, also known as super high viscosity nylon. This allows the nylon to be stretched without losing its properties and provides high strength, while the elongation is very low - only 21%. The production process, which is an advanced vulcanization process, ensures long and strong molecular chains.
Therefore, Sufix Super 21 is a nylon that is highly resistant to abrasion, impact and knots. During production, the line is repeatedly cooled to very low temperatures and then heated again.
This process gives it excellent elasticity. The combination of ultra-high viscosity nylon and an advanced vulcanization process increases the average elongation of Sufix Super 21 to just 21%. 40% lighter than other traditional nylon monofilament threads.
